Seekers, this message is about the foundation of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 16 verses 14-19
verse 18: Jesus said to Peter on the Revelation that was given to him about who Jesus is, upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Seekers, the first thing if you build a house is the foundation of that house. Will what I build upon that foundation stand? We are building the foundation of the church of Jesus. You, the seekers, must find the truth about the foundation of the church that Jesus said I will build my church on the rock of the revelation that Peter said who Jesus is. Thou are the Christ, the son of the living God. Seekers, you can build on the rock and live. You can hear the false prophets gospel and die.
Matthew 7 verses 22-23 See what Jesus said to these preachers
verse 23: and then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
First they built on the foundation of sand. They were deceived by men, and didn't receive the revelation that the apostle Peter received. They thought that they had done many wonderful works. Second is that they were blind about the born again spirit kingdom of God. There was no record of their birth in the lambs book. Note: Baptism in water in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. They did not receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The born again soul.
Seekers, this is what stands on the foundation of the only church the truth that Jesus built that you must believe to be saved.
Ephesians 2 verses 18-22 For through him we both have access by one spirit unto the father,
verse 19: Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.
verse 20: And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
verse 21: In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto a holy temple in the Lord.
verse 22: in whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God through the spirit.
The twelve apostle are the preachers that the Lord sent out to preach the truth, the gospel. They are the foundation that the church stands on. Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone.
Revelation 21 verse 14: and the wall of the city had twelve foundation and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the lamb.
Read Matthew 10 verses 1-6. These are the names of the apostles.
Ephesians 4 verse 4: There is one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
verse 5: One Lord, One faith, and One baptism.
verse 6: One God and one father of all who is above all and through all and in you all.
Seekers, there is one door to the kingdom of God. Jesus is that door. The apostles are the foundation.
Galations 1 verse 8-9 Paul the apostle to the Gentiles said.
verse 8: But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accused.
verse 9: As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
The truth is all that will stand on the day of judgment. Today the churches of the world their foundation is their denomination and their organization. This is not what Jesus taught the apostles to preach. Jesus sent them to preach the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The devil has deceived the world to believe the lie of the trinity and in that day of judgment if that is your foundation then you will be lost because there is but one God always been just one God and savior.
Luke 24 verses 44-49 read these and see.
verse 45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scripture,
verse 46: and said unto them, thus it is written and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
verse 47: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is where the church of the Lord Jesus Christ that rock that he said he will build his church on.
verse 48: and ye are witnesses of these things.
verse 49: and behold I send the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high.
In Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost the Church of Jesus Christ is born the holy ghost the spirit of the almighty God is the beginning of the spiritual kingdom. Glory to the king of kings!!!
Revelation 1 verse 7-8
verse 8: I am Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was, and which is to come the almighty.
The Lord is saying I am one.
Matthew 16 verse 19: Peter the apostle that Jesus said I give you the keys to the kingdom of God.
Peter in Acts 2 verses 37-39 preached the first gospel plan of salvation the truth of the born again the key to the kingdom of God. Will you hear the truth. Please hear Jesus the word of God and see how important is the foundation that your are on. The Rock or Sand. Pray for the light of the truth the only gospel that Jesus Christ died and shed his blood to show us the way to the kingdom of God. The devil the deceiving serpent that hell was made for, him and his angels and without the truth you stand on sand. Amen.
