The Foolishness of Preaching
1st Corinthians Chapter 1 verses 17-31
verse 17: for Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
verse 18: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
verse 19: for it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
verse 20: Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
verse 21: For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
verse 22: For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
verse 23: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness.
verse 24: But unto them which are called both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Read Matthew 12 verses 38-41 and see what Jesus said the sign was to all people...
Note: Wisdom in the flesh is not wisdom in the spirit, therefore wisdom in the flesh is blindness in the spirit. They are two different wisdoms. Seekers you must seek for wisdom in the spirit, by prayer and fasting, reading the word of God with a contrite, and humble spirit, to know the truth of Gods word and the truth comes to you in the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
2nd Timothy 3-7
Everleaning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1st Timothy 2-4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Matthew 6 verse 21 For where your treasure is there will your heart be also. ( Think about that). Seekers the heart of men must become humble and hungry to know God in truth. We study for the things in the world to have knowledge of and all of the world will pass away.
Read Matthew 16 verse 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and loose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? The wisest men in the world have no knowledge of God. If they did the world would not be in the condition it is in today. They don't know what is coming on the world. Destruction, the Great Tribulation, they think their wisdom can solve it all. They are blind to the wisdom of God. The answer to all of our problems is to seek the Lord with all of our heart and soul, he will hear that prayer. The wisdom for man today is seek to know the men of the Bible that the Lord sent to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The apostles were sent. Paul was sent to the Gentiles to preach the Gospel that we may have salvation. (Note: I am a Gentile.) How do yo think that you will be saved in the end when you don't know these men of God. If you have never studied your bible, and fell in love with the word of God. Not what your pastor is teaching, is it what the apostles taught. Are you willing to die just on what the pastor taught and not see what the Lord sent the apostles to preach the foolishness of preaching the truth to save your soul. Don't put your trust in man, be sure he is preaching the whole truth.
Read Mark 16 verses 15-20: and they went forth, and preached everywhere the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
Note; Satan miracles Revelation 13 verse 13-18
verse 13: and he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men
verse 14: and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of these miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast. saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword and did live.
verse 15: and he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. This is the antichrist miracles.
Note: The first kingdom Gold.
Babylon Nebuchadnezzar set up an image and if you didn't fall down and worship you were killed.
The fourth kingdom Iron and Clay, the holy Rome Babylon, antichrist, kingdom. The image was set up for you to fall down and worship the beast or die.
Seekers read Isaiah 14 verse 12-16
verse 12: How are thou fallen from heaven O lucifer, son of the morning: How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations.
verse 13: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the side of the North ( Rome Babylon)
verse 14: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most high.
verse 15: yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
verse 16: They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms?
Matthew 4 verse 8-9: The kingdoms of the world the devil has.
Seekers this message is a life line to a world drowning in lies of Satan, false prophets that are preaching false doctrine to deceive you to cause you to be lost. The message from the Lord Jesus Christ, (the truth). He that hath an ear let him hear what the sprit saith. Choose who you will believe. Signs follow the believer, and the spirit of God reveals the truth of the word of God. The prophets were prophesying of the things that were to come to pass in the last days. The Lord gave signs for the believer to know, and to look for in the latter days. Gods people will not be in darkness the warning is in the word of God. The Lord always warns of destruction. Read Matthew 24.
Note: Seekers I am sowing seed. the word of God, the truth, the true Gospel. That the seed will fall on them that seek to know the truth in that day. The Lord will send the spirit, the holy ghost on the word and it will come alive in your soul to know the truth and to have eternal life. The light to light up your soul. It is the last days, hear the message and live.
Read 1 Peter 4 verse 17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: an if it first begin at us what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Note: The judgement begins with the ministry and the preachers if they don't preach the true gospel.
