Read Jude Chapter 1 verses 17-18
Remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after thier own ungodly lust, these be they who separate themselves, having not the spirit.
Timothy Chapter 3 verse 1-7
verse 1: This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come.
verse 2: For men shall be lovers of thier ownselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.
verse 3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.
verse 4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
verse 5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Note: They deny the Holy Ghost.
verse 7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Note: When the Holy Ghost was poured out on the day of Pentecost, there were mockers of the people that had received the gift of the Holy Ghost. They were not drunk on wine, but the Holy Ghost. THey were rejoicing on the promise of God that was poured out on them. Scoffers and Mockers in the last days that will laugh at the idea of Christ return to the Earth. Atheist that denies the existence of God.
Read 2 Cor. 4-3 Paul said if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost.
Read Proverbs Chapter 1 verse 22-33
verse 22: How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
verse 23: Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my word unto you.
verse 24; Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded:
verse 25: But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
verse 26: I also will laugh at you calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
verse 27: When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind: when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
verse 28: Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer: they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me;
verse 29: For that they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord.
verse 30: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
verse 31: Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own devices.
verse 32: for the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
verse 33: But who so hearken unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Note: The apostles said in the last days that mockers and scoffers, atheist and false prophets will come that hate the truth. You that come to change the word of God into lies, you say we are in a new way, the old is out dated and not for the church today, we have been liberated from the old. The word is God and he is the same yesterday, today, and forever the same. (NO Change) The false prophets have come to strip you of your walk with the Lord, to change the word of God, do away with the truth and standards of holiness, and be like the world.
