Following the Word
Seekers if we follow the word of God, and seek the truth, the word will lead you to the kingdom of God. Let us look at what the scriptures teach about the most important knowlege you need to know.
Matthew 7 verses 13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go thereat:
verse 14 because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Note: Jesus is warning us of the straight way and broad way. The straight way is the truth. The broad way is the lies of the devil and the false prophets to change the word to deceive you. The most important knowledge is salvation. It is to live or die. The first step: we must believe the word of God. You cannot recieve anything from the Lord without believing. Now let's look at the steps to salvation. The second step is to Repent of your sins, confessing your sins to the Lord, and not to man. The third step is baptism which is for the remission of sins. Acts 2 38-39 Some will say in Luke 23 verse 39-43 the male factor went to paradise true. That was before the new testament.
Read Hebrews 9 verse 16-17
verse 16: for where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
verse 17: for a testament is of force after we are dead, otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
So, in the New testament you must be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ .
John 3 verses 5-9
verse 5: Jesus answered verily verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of water (baptized) and of the spirit (holy ghost), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
verse 6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
Note: If you believe, repent be baptized in water, buried in the name of Jesus Christ, this is the gospel.
Romans 6 verses 1-12
Note: If you have taken the three steps then to you is the promise of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2 verse 39)
For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are a far off even as many as the Lord our God shall call. If you follow the word of God you will find the truth. You will be filled with the Holy Ghost. Remember my warning to you the seekers about false prophets that teach false doctrine.
1. Just join the church.
2. The sinners prayer over you.
3. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior.
None of this is scripture. Follow the word of God to be saved.
Read John 5 verse 39
Search the scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me. Remember Jesus Christ died on the cross, shed his blood for you, believe and follow the word and live.
Let us see the reward of believing the truth in the end.
Read 1 Corinthians 15 verse 50-58
verse 50: Now this I say brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God: neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
verse 51: Behold, I show you a mystery: we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed.
verse 52: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed
verse 53: for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
verse 54: so when this corruptible shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.
verse 55: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
verse 56 the sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the law
verse 57: but thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1st Corinthians 15 verse 26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1st Thessalonians 4 verse 15-18
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arch angel, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
verse 17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Revelation 11 verses 14-19
The second woe is past and behold the third woe cometh quickly:
verse 15: and the seventh angel sounded
Read 1 Corinthians verse 52 again. Note: The dead is raised from the grave at the last trump. For the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised.
verse 18 and the time of the dead, that thou shouldest give rewards unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints.
Note: We have followed the truth of God's word to the end of Life. The reward of believing the truth and not the lies of the devil is victory over death and hell. Read all of these scriptures and believe the word so you can see the kingdom of God. There is no short cut to the kingdom of God, you must believe the truth that is why I am here to teach the truth of God's word. Amen
