Seekers, the most wonderful and exciting gift that anyone could receive is the Holy Ghost. That is God in your tabernacle, and what a joy to praise and worship the Lord in spirit and truth.
Read Acts Chapter 2. The Holy Ghost was poured out on the believers and they were rejoicing in the spirit and truth and the message that Peter preached to the people. When the world is rejoicing over the things of the world that is ok, but when the church is rejoicing they made fun and mocked the people. The devil likes the church quiet and dead. The church in the past worshipped in song and in the joy of the Lord that was long ago. Now the old hem books are gone and the worship in the spirit is gone it is the world and the music of the world. There is no sound of the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now they just sit and someone else sings and no worship. How sad it is that change has come and they know it not. They sit in blindness and know it not. Awake people and remember the joy of salvation, praise, and worship.
Luke 6 verse 23: Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for behold your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
Seekers, King David was a worshipper of God.
Psalms 35 verse 9: and my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Chapter 51 verse 12: Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation: and uphold me with thy free spirit.
The church of today should be crying to the Lord, restore the joy of salvation.
Psalms 126 verse 5: They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Psalms 63 verse 5: My soul shall be satisfied as marrow and fatness: and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.
Isaiah 3 verse 10: and the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Luke 15 verse 7: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Romans 15 verse 13: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Galatians 5 verse 22: But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.
Whom having not seen, ye love: in whom, though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
Peter 4 verse 13 But rejoice, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings: that when his glory shall be revealed ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Philippians 4 verse 1: Therefore my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord my dearly beloved.
verse 4: Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.
Matthew 24 verse 13: But he that endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
Luke 9 verse 62: And Jesus said unto him, no man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.
Seekers I like what king David said in Psalms 61 verse 1-2
verse 1: Hear my cry, O God, attend unto my prayer.
verse 2: From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
