Seekers, this is about the Holy Ghost, the kingdom of the new testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew Chapter 11 verses 12-13
verse 12: from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force,
verse 13: for all the prophets and the law prophesied until John the Baptist.
Seekers note: Matthew Chapter 3 verse 11: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier that I whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the holy ghost, and with fire:
Note: Jesus came to John to be baptized and John forbad him.
verse 15: and Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness.
verse 16: and Jesus when he was baptized went up straight way out of the water and lo, the heavens were opened unto him and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.
Seekers note John came to prepare the way of the coming of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, the spirit of truth. The first thing is repentance, confessing of your sins. The second thing is baptism in the water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
verse 15: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness to be baptized.
Jesus was baptized of John to show us the way to the kingdom of God. The third thing when Jesus came out of the water the spirit of God, the Holy Ghost descended upon him. The same will happen to you if you obey the truth.
John Chapter 14 verse 15, 16- 26
verse 15: If ye love me keep my commandments,
verse 16: and I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.
verse 17: even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
verse 18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
verse 26: but the comforter which is the holy ghost, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
verse 27: Peace I leave with you my peace I give unto you not as the world giveth , give I unto you let not your heart be afraid.
Luke 24 verse 46: Thus it is written and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
verse 47: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name, among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
verse 48: and ye are witnesses of these things.
verse 49: and behold, I send the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Seekers read Acts chapter 1 verses 4-8
verse 4: but wait for the promise of the father, which saith he, ye have heard of me.
verse 5: For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
verse 8: But ye shall receive power, after that the holy ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria and unto the utter most part of the earth.
Note: The second chapter book of Acts the Lord said I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh. The Lord calls his preacher and sends them out to preach the truth to save souls. The same gospel the apostles preached in the beginning. Seekers will you believe the truth? The serpent sends his preacher to deceive you and teach a lie. Jesus shed his blood to save your sous, that is the only reason for him coming is to save our souls from hell. It is not for men to make profit or to make gain for themselves, it is to save the lost to preach the gospel truth and that only. We must follow the Lord and his word in all of the truth to be save in the end. That repentance, baptism, and the holy ghost John the Baptist come to prepare the way of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ the lamb of God. The door is opening of the spiritual kingdom of God for all of the world must hear his message to them that has ears to hear the word of the truth. This message is for you that will hear what the Lord is saying come I have a gift of Life if you will hear my message to you come and believe the message and save your souls.
