The Pentecostal movement was born January 1st 1901 in Topeka Kansas. Then in 1906 to 312 Azusa Street in Los Angeles California in an old mission building. The holy ghost was poured out on the believers, and it spread over the world as people came to America to receive the gift of the holy ghost. The movement was called Jesus name, holiness, message and later called Pentecostal or Apostolic. The church had a humble beginning. The message was from the book of Acts of the apostles, the pouring out of the holy ghost Acts 2 verses 37-39. They preached for people to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost, for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are a far off even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Seekers, note the people stood on the banks of the rivers and creeks or where ever there was water to watch the believers be buried in water in the name of Jesus Christ and when they came out of the water praising the Lord and speaking in tongues, glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Seekers read Romans Chapter 6 verses 3-4:
verse 3: Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
verse 4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The church had a humble beginning the message was preached from brush arbors, store fronts, buildings, tents, and any place they could get a crowd. People were healed and born again. The book of acts of the Apostles was the message. Back then there was no organization, the message was in the Holy Ghost the spirit of the almighty God. Now let us see what the serpent or devil did to kill the church as it is today.
The first thing was to organize the church. You must join our organization for us to fellowship. You must have a membership card with a fee and then we are in fellowship. (money for the church) This is like the Catholics indulgences fee to make money for the church. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is born into the church we don't join anything. There is one God and he has one people.
1 Corinthians Chapter 1 verses 8-10
verse 9: God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord.
verse 10: Now I beseech you brethren by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no division among you: but that ye be perfectly join together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
The second thing is you left your first love for the organization. You spend more time praising what the organization can do for you than praising the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The third thing is you have a name thou livest and art dead.
The Holy Ghost preacher the old preachers are gone and when the bible school preachers took over they change the names of the church, kill the spirit and change to the form of the world. Wake up! preachers and find the truth. What Paul said.
2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2 verses 1-12:
verse 3: Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition. (the antichrist)
verse 10: and with all deceiveableness of unrighteousness in them that perish: because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
verse 11: and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie
verse 12: That they all might be damned who believe not the truth. but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
The church I see is not the book of Acts or the church at Pentecost or the church 100 years ago or even 50 years ago. Those that never knew the truth can not fall away from it, but you that profess to know the truth, you are the church or people that Paul is speaking about that has fallen away. You have to be in something to fall from it. All the serpent or devil had to do was cause a division in the church and the organization that you love so much your organization is what has deceived you to fall from the truth to a lie.
Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 15: of whom the whole family (one people) in heaven and earth is named. Your organization divided God's people. Now if you are Pentecostal and not in the organization and you still preach repentance, baptism in Jesus name and the gift of the holy spirit to be saved and you love the truth, the spirit of God in your church this message is not for you. Seekers the Pentecostal organization is built on sand. You cannot divide the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. If a person has believed the truth and has received the gift of the Holy Spirit he is a child of the Lord. He will be saved but your card will not get you into the kingdom of God. Unless you repent and hear this message and believe the truth and come out of what the serpent has deceived you in the last days the love of the organization, not for the love of the people that you should. You should love all of Gods people.
Seekers the new testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a spiritual kingdom it is all about the spirit of God. If the spirit of God is there life will be there. The serpent devil deceives you to kill the spirit and you have a name but you are dead. Politick is not in the new testament church that is the world. The church is spirit. What goes on behind closed doors, God is seeing and hearing. The people don't know what is going on it is all about the election and who will get the most votes, and who of the brothers will be favored by the organization.
Church! come out of the darkness of the world, and see the truth, the light. When the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. What will you be standing on? The rock or the sand!
